The Gatling Stalker Guide

Heya!

Today, I will share a fun build which I loved while playing on EternityRO. During my stay in Liberty, one of my friends informed me that Double-Attack and Raging-Triple Blow worked on bows. I was just too curious and went ahead to make a Auto-Attack bow Stalker. Welcome to my Gatling Stalker Guide.

Pros:
  • Very fun to play and see those numbers roll.
  • If you like exploring, this would be a quite a good class as you have around 280 flee.
  • Very good DPS. You have almost the same DPS as a Sniper with OAB and enchant.
  • 180Aspd with buffs, ensure that monsters stay hit-locked.
  • If you are looking for something away from Meta-Gameplay, this should be quite interesting.
  • Can easily switch to Bowling-Bash/Claymore Trap build if necessary.
  • Gangster Paradise is the best skill in-game /gg.
Cons:
  • Arrows, they run out so fast. Its so painful to watch those quivers go away.
  • Arrowwssss.....seriously, if your server takes 3 arrows per Triple Attack, its gonna be a pain.
  • Weight Issues. With much of your weight going for arrows, you will have very less space for pots.
  • Unless you switch to Bowling-Bash, you will have no AOE.
  • Focuses more on solo-play rather than group-play.
  • Needs a Sidewinder Card to become effective.

Build

Str: Ideally you want a good amount of str for your weight capacity. Put remaining stat-points into Str after you balance your Agi and Dex.

Vit: Keep it at 1. You will have good flee and the Porcelio card on your armor will reduce the effectiveness of your Vit.

Agi: The main focus here is for Aspd. The higher the aspd, the better the hitlock and damage.

Dex: Your secondary Stat. Your damage depends on this stat. Ideally, you want to reach 110 unbuffed dex.

Luk: Keep it at 1. Crits reduce the chance of Double and Triple Attack.

Gears and Cards:

Weapons:

Arbalest
My favorite weapon. It saves you 22 stat points and has 2 slots. It has nice base damage and can be easily farmed at Raydrics.

Gakkung
If you are unable to get an Arbalest, go for Gakkung[2]. It has a little higher damage than Arbalest but you need to add 2 more points into dex.

Burning Bow/Earthern Bow/Gale Bow
These bows have the highest DPS and have a slot for your Sidewinder. However, you need to equip fire arrows(endow doesn't work) and requires additional Sidewinder cards.

HeadGear:

Apple of Archer
Another one of my favorite. It gives good dex bonus but lacks any slots.

Ulle's Cap
If you are looking for the warm cozy feel on your head, go for Ulles. It gives dex bonus and has a slot for Myst-Case Card.

Armor:

Thief Clothes
Go for this one. Has the least weight and gives you a point in Agi.

Garment:

Rider's Insignia
Easy to get in Niff and does very well with Black Leather Boots.

Pantie[1]+Undershirt[1]
I generally don't spend too much on fun builds. Unless you really love playing this char, dont spend the money on slotted pantie or undershirt.

Shoes:

Black Leather Boots
Good Agi bonus and it can be slotted.

Accessory:

Glove[1]
Good for Dex classes. Has a good re-sale value too.

Brooch[1]
Cheaper alternative for glove.

Cards

Weapon:

Sidewinder Card
Your primary card. This build will be obsolete without this card. 50% chance for double attack raises your DPS by a huge amount.

Hunter-Fly Card
Use this as your secondary card. The life-steal provided by this card compensates for the lack of pots/vit. This card helps a lot to regen your HP when you are over-weight.

Skel-Worker Card
If you are going for a weapon with 3 slots, you can use this for more damage.

Familiar/ Savage-Babe Card
Both help you to keep monsters away.

Head-Gear:

MystCase Card
The best card for a farming character.(Those gift boxes tend to put additional strain on your weight.

Armor:

Porcelio Card
Best card to boost your DPS.

Garment

Whisper Card
The best overall card. It gives a good flee bonus which helps you avoid most of the damage.

Nine-Tail Card
If you are hunting low level mobs, you can switch to Nine-Tails for better Aspd.

Shoes :

Male Thief-Bug Card
More Agi= More Aspd= More DPS

Accessory:

Zerom
The best card to boost your Dex. I generally tend to use only 1 and keep the other slot free for other cards.

Orc Archer/Cloud Hermit/ Green Iguana
All these cards help get useful boxes, which in-turn help with your arrow costs.

Skill Builds:

The skill build for Stalker is pretty simple. However, you have to choose if you want to get the strip-skills or Compulsion Discount. Here is the build which I enjoy:

You can put the remaining stat points into Graffiti and Tunnel Drive, or you could take Double Strafe. Remember, you can copy double strafe with Plagarism.

Thats all for now. Enjoy your pew pew...
