Hello folks, welcome to my Lord-Knight Guide.
Today I am going to show you how to build a Lord-Knight which can perform very well in almost any situations i.e. party-mobbing, solo-mobbing, solo-farming and even MVP.
As a Lord-Knight, your job is basically similar to a garbage collector. You go out and collect garbage, bring it together and carry them with you. Sometimes the garbage smells and sometimes it falls off.....errr..lemme rephrase that...
Your job a a Lord Knight is to lead your party. Leadership comes from Dedication, Perseverance, Focus and Passion. You have to look into every member of your party and bring out the best in them. Playing a lord knight, you have to deal with many situations and adapt efficiently with each of them. This build/guide will provide you with ropes to adapt, but in the end its your play-style and attitude that matters.
Please note the efficiency of this build is built from the equips and not the stats. So, if you just want to play your lord knight casually, this might not be a good build for you. However if you love playing knights and can dedicate yourself to 1 character, this might be the perfect build for you.
Buffs Used: Increase Agi, Blessing, Berserk Potion and 1-Hand Quicken(Soul Link)
P.S: You need to use some Lord-Knight skill points into Swordsman Skill Tree
With 21k HP, Racial Thorny Shields, Endure and Peco, this task should be very easy. You have access to 78 vit along with lvl 10 HP recovery which will help you with pots. Any additional vit(99 vit) is not required as the difference is minimal.
I have put skill-point into 'Berserk' as this will be your 'oh shit' button while mobbing high tier dungeons.
Just bring out your soul-linker, use 1-hand quicken and you have 190 ASPD with 47 agi. Forget those stupid 1-agi berserk builds.
This build is most efficient when you use fly-wings, kill target monster and fly-wing again.
Here are the kill speeds for different monsters:
Sometimes, you want something more powerful than Auto-Attack. In that situation, you can switch to Pierce Lord-Knight.
Guess what Pierce Delay depends on?.....thats right Aspd again. With the above equipment, you should have 172 Aspd which is pretty nice to spam those pierce on Large Monsters including MVPs. However, you need to farm set of 2x Racial+2x Size Pikes.
So there you have it. A build for every situation. Now go out there and become the best Lord-Knight on your server.

The Play-Styles
Tanker/Lurer
This playstyle involves luring a group of monsters to your party where the Wizards and Snipers can kill them fast and efficiently.With 21k HP, Racial Thorny Shields, Endure and Peco, this task should be very easy. You have access to 78 vit along with lvl 10 HP recovery which will help you with pots. Any additional vit(99 vit) is not required as the difference is minimal.

Auto-Attacker
If you want to just left click the monsters, this build is perfect for you.Just bring out your soul-linker, use 1-hand quicken and you have 190 ASPD with 47 agi. Forget those stupid 1-agi berserk builds.
This build is most efficient when you use fly-wings, kill target monster and fly-wing again.
Here are the kill speeds for different monsters:
- Green Ferus: 4.4 sec
- Gold Acidius: 10 sec
- Banshee: 6 sec
- Incarnation of Morroc(White): 30 sec
- Snowier: 4 sec
Bowling Bash Mobber
Since, Bowling Bash delay depends on Aspd, you should have no problems using this build. The 24k HP, combined with 180 Aspd (no 1-hand quicken) should be ample enough to slay all the mobs. If you really want more DPS, switch to 2xRacial+2xElement Katana.Pierce Lord-Knight

Spiral Pierce Lord-Knight
Every build has a weakness and sure enough, this build is not good for Spiral Pierce. Spiral-Pierce is a specialized build which requires 90+ dex and high Aspd to be most efficient. Since this build focuses on ~50 dex, we leave out Spiral Pierce and choose Pierce over it.So there you have it. A build for every situation. Now go out there and become the best Lord-Knight on your server.

Coco, your blog And adventures inspired me to make blacksmith but I feel that my heart is all about knights but I am playing on a desert server with only first jobs , are knight useful like blacksmith for solo mvp? Can he do same thing with only claymore /spear and endow like your low budget blacksmith does with only two handed axe ? Please make a guide about knights like you did with blacksmith , thank you , I am so sorry for not finding this blog before, would be fun to play with you all those years
ReplyDeleteKnights lack the DPS compared to a Whitesmith/Blacksmith but they make it up with the tankiness. You definitely need good weapon (2xRacial, 2x Size) to compete MVP using your Knight.
