Hello Everyone!!!

Well, everyone has their time and I guess its mine now. Yea, I am leaving RO behind.


The Beginning...

I started it way back when Turtle Island Patch was released. It was my first MMO and fell it love with it instantly. I cant believe how horrible I was at playing it. I had to call the customer support because I couldn't find the Swordsman Barracks for job change :(

I loved those times where Acolytes were like gods in the server and everyone prayed to get 1 in party. It was absolutely amazing when the whole party wiped at Munaks/Skel Workers. After having fun for about 6 months, Openkore got released and the fun kinda decreased. However, I still continued playing with my friends.

After playing official servers for around 1-2 years, I switched to Private Servers to have a look at transcendent classes.


The Middle....

I switched to from playing Official servers to Low Rate Private servers. Back then, the private servers had ~1k players and it was pretty fun to play on them without bots. The best servers I played was probably EternityRO. I learned so much stuff about Ragnarok by joining good PVM guild like Liberty and Loli Brigade. EternityRO was also the place where I fell in love with my Whitesmith :D

After all the PVM, I decided to give WOE a try. I tried applying to top woe guild using a support class and voila...I was in. It was quite a change from PVM mode. Every stat point mattered and the coordination was amazing. I traveled with WOE guild for almost 2 years. Finally the drama and the hate against random people outside guilds, made we quit WOE scene and join back to PVM.

When I came back after a break, the RO community became so small. Almost all low-rate servers only had 300-400. All the good people I knew moved on and the community became very.....nooby?:P .This is when I decided to take lead role in organizing parties.

The servers lasted like 2-3 months and I was constantly jumping from one server to another. I lost so many friends and screenshots from all the servers. This is when I started my blog to store my screenshots :P. Eventually, I started writing guides and people started enjoying them :D


The End...

Well, I lost most of my friends and I have to go and take care of some IRL stuff. Sadly, I have to say goodbye to RO.

I really would like to thank everyone who played with me and helped me with my journey. Good luck and enjoy life wherever you guys are :D

Well, I really wish I started this sooner or had more time to make more guides. Unfortunately, there won't be any updates on the blog. I will monitor the comments once a month to avoid spam, buy no new content will be added.

I had amazing fun on this server. I got so much done in a week. I really wish I could play more.

Coco's Assassin Leveling Guide (Sonic-Blow)

Welcome to another Assassin Leveling Guide. This time I will focus on Sonic Blow. It is also one of my favorite methods to get my Assassin to 99.

Notes on this guide:

1. This is a basic guide for beginners.
2. It is intended to level your Assassin on a new server without any zeny requirements.
3. The guide is best used in servers with a free Healer. However, it can be used on severs without a healer(use inn).
4. The areas specified are just guidelines. You can mix them or stay at the same map if you think the exp is appreciable.
5. All the screen-shots are from RMS test server. 
6. This guide was created in haste. Please don't mind the errors if you find any.
7. Please respect the CC rights and mention the source if you are re-posting the guide elsewhere.

Creating your characters

Start of by making your Assassin, Priest, Linker and a Sage. You will definitely require a sage for Endows. Going all the way to a priest is a personal choice. You can stop leveling an Acolyte once he has Agi 10, Bless 10 and Warp-Portal 4.

Job 1-10

Once you have changed all your chars to 1st job, take your mage to Geffen and use this trick to get job 10 easily.


Base 15-45

Head to lhz_fild01 or ein_fild07 and kill Metalling using Firebolt.


Base 45-60

Do the Lost Puppies Quest and Brasilis Dungeon Entrance Quest. This should get you to Base 60. If you do not have Brasilis episode on your server, continue with Metalings on ein_fild07.


Job 40

Finish off the last few job levels at Geographers.



First few levels after job change

Continue at Geographers or Drosera until the Sage has maxed all the endows. Once your Sage has all the endows, you can switch to playing your Assassin.


Preparations

The first step is to get Sonic Acceleration. Follow the steps in this link.

You will always be using triple client, since you need the link for your Assassin.

One really important note on playing a Sonic-Blow Assassin is that you can kill a mob and fly wing without taking any damage(even if the mob hits you). You just have to use your flywing instantly after using Sonic Blow.

This technique will be really helpful if you are planning on using Sonic-Blow with EDP as a SinX.

Your stats and skills should look like the following:

With the above stats, you will have really good damage but no flee. Start putting stat points into Agi until you feel comfortable with the mobs. Try to balance out your int to avoid very frequent Inn usage.



Base 55-65
Since your Agi is very very low, you have to find good non-aggro mobs which gives you awesome exp. The answer is Siroma. Low HP, good exp, non-aggro and good card.

Base 70-85
Once you hit ~70, you will have enough flee to survive Dryads. Head to Umbala Field-1 and take the repeatable quest to kill Dryads. You can sell or use the sharp leafs on yourself to get to 85.

Base 85-99
The concept here is to find a mob with ~6-15k HP which you can 1-hit with Sonic-Blow using endows. Here are the list of mobs which I think are best for leveling your sin.

• Ninetails
• Alligator
• DragonTail
• Kaho
• Seal
• Hill Wind
• Penomena
• Remover
• High Orc
• Minorous
• Pitman
• All mobs in Bio2

Take a pick depending on the items needed and get your Assassin to 99.

Welcome to my Knight Leveling Guide.

Creating your characters

Using the money from the drops buy yourself basic NPC gears for Knight i.e. Full Plate, Manteau, Boots, Helm and a Lance.

With the above stats you will have decent ASPD. You just have to pierce and flywing. Return to Inn if you run out of SP. Warp back and repeat. Make sure you bring some Monster Feed(or any other healing item) for HP


Base 70-85

Here are the leveling spots for your Knight using Pierce.

High Orcs
This would pretty much be your bread-and-butter mobs. I usually kill them till 99. However, they have very poor drops.

Minorous
These are the alternate for High Orcs. The cards are really useful and sell for a lot. Once you get 2 cards, you can switch to +10 Pike[4] and use a shield for additional defense.

Argiope
They have medicore exp, but its a good place to farm Boots[1] especially if your server has no Abbey Dungeon.


Hill Wind
Although they are not 'Large', they still die to 2 pierce. Each mob gives you 1.5k zeny which is pretty nice.


Base 85-99

At around 85 your stats should like the following:

Now you have to decide if you want to continue solo or join a party. If you want to continue solo, you can dump all the stat points into Agi/Int to help you spam Pierce faster. Alternatively, if you want to join a party, put your stat point into Vit for mobbing.

Do Note: You can also use 2 Hand Quicken or Bowling Bash if you get bored of Pierce. 

Use the same spots mentioned above to get to 99. If you are really geared and have a slave HP you can try the following places:

Kasa
If you do have really good equipment, try Piercing Kasa for some really good exp. You need good amount of pots for this map. The loot, especially the equipment from Kasa sells for a good price. More info on here.

RagnaClan - Too much RO

Sorry for not updating the blog.....I was way too busy playing on RagnaClan. GOt a lot of stuff done in the past 2 days especially with the guild.
