Coco's Critical Sniper Guide

Welcome to my Sniper Guide.

Way back in 2009, when I was in SOS Brigade, a hunter had a spare Morrigane Manteau to give-away. I took this opportunity to go and experiment with Sniper Class and the results were amazing.

I made a full Critical Sniper and had a blast playing it. Every person who saw me shooting went 'wtf those crits!'. I would like to share this build with your and would love to hear the outcome from playing it.


Here are the pros and cons of this build:

Pros:

• Amazing Fun!!
• Fly Falcon!!!Fly!!! 
• 'OMG, WTF' reaction from your party members/friends.
• Good DPS especially on High Def monsters.
• One among the only 2 chars to solo Thors3(the other being Spiral LK)
• A little bit cost effective compared to regular build.
• Can easily switch back to Regular/Party build with no hassles.

Cons:

• The equipment take a while to appear on market. Expect to see them after a month or 2 from the server start date.
• Arrows!!!Yea, its a bit annoying when your whole quiver disappears within 5 mins :(
• Arrows!!! Yep better have a alt-merchant on the map on which you are leveling.

Build:

Card Glossary:

• Weapon: Drosera x 3 and Size Modifier Card(Minorous, Skel-Worker, Desert Wolf)
• Armor: Porcelio
• Foot-gear: Male-Thief Bug

Build Notes:

• Self-Buffs: Improve Concentration, WindWalk, TrueSight and Awakening Potion
• Priest Buffs: Blessing, Increase-Agi
• You can turn off True-Sight and still have ~98% crit chance.
• Try to get 1 more Agi through Pet/Enchant and increase Luk to Base 54 to have bonus crit.
• Use Gym-Passes to help with the Arrow Quivers.
• Do not forget the power of Charge Arrow.
• Tweek the build around to fit your playstyle.
• MVP's are pretty fun if you have the right party. The only thing you gotta do is left click on it when ready.
• Switch to Orc-Archer Bow if you are Sharp-Shooting.

Leveling/Exploring:

With this build you can practically go explore anywhere. Although a priest would be preferable, but you can take all your friends and go explore different dungun rather than sticking to mainstream areas.
Few notable monsters which will help you level faster and get good drops are listed below.


Ice Titans:

• One of the most easiest monster to solo.
• Equip Wind Arrows and blast em away.
  
  
  

Salamander:

• This should be your main leveling monster.
• Grab a priest or go solo. Use Ankle Snare and fire away!
  
  
  

Frus:

• A good monster with less chances of death compared to Salamander.
• Good drops NPC drops and Silver Arrows are easy to get.
• Low EXP compared to others.
  
  
  

New World:

• Tatacho, Hillslion, Cronus, Naga, Centipede.....everything dies with ankle snare.
  
  
  

Thanatos:

• Floor 8,9,10 and 11 should be very good for your crits.
• However, you need a party/multi clients to get here.
  
  
  

Banshee:

• A good monster with good drops.
• Mobbing and Sharpshooting yields better mobs/hr, but a single left click is much easier.
  
  
  

Abyss 3:

• A very good place to farm.
• Left click and watch the Dragon vs Falcon Tournament.
  
  
  

 Apocalypse:

• I generally stay away from Neutral property monsters. However, the 25% Steel drop is amazing. 100% if you are on 4x server.
• Bring Fly-wings and avoid Venatu. They are not worth the time.
