General Leveling Area Map
All Maps are connected with each other.
• Prontera - upper left part you would find the Knight's Guild, search for the NPC that will allow you to enter culverts and be teleported to the area.
• prt_fild05 (W of Pront) - after volunteering, (you will land on the encircled area) go to the kafra near you and save. this will be your save point for the rest of your pre-sting leveling. Entrance to the Culvert is located here. Note: West exit goes to Rocker/Creamy Area, South Rocker/Poporing/Creamy Area
• mjolnir_09 (WN of Pront) - Sniping area is encircled, because monsters tend to mob here. However regular sniping can be achieved around the map.
• mjolnir_08 (WNN of Pront) - Before entering this area you must learn VFW. Most monsters are aggresives. Monster quantity as follows: Argiope 20, Mantis 70, Argos 20
• prt_fild01 (N of Pront) - No enemies worth leveling upon X
• mjolnir_10 (NN of Pront) - Moderate monster residence, avoid Earth Petites. Monster quantity as follows: Mantis 30, Argos 70, Flora 30, Earth Petites 10
• mjolnir_05 (NNN of Pront) - Improved quantity of Argiopes. Most dangerous area, monster quantity as follows: Argiope 70, Mantis 40, Argos 20, Flora 20 Note: NN of this map or NNNN of Pront is Aldebaran

STING MAP
• glast_01 - Enter in the Middle
• gl_church - as you've noticed to 2 portals are available for gl_chyard. Portal1 though far is the most safe entrance, while Portal2 has a tendency to mob monsters specially Evil Druids and Mimics.
• gl_chyard - have two portals where you will land depending on what portal you will use on gl_church. this area is more safe than gl_church because the portals does not horde any monster on its area.
• gl_sew02 - from gl_chyard you will land in the upper left portal. you will have to fly to the other side portal which is encircled.
• gl_sew03 - the sting map, monster quantity are as follows 70 Stings and 35 Gargoyles.

Majoruros Map
Follow the path going to Stings upon on the lower left portion there is a portal for gl_sewer04
• gl_sewer04 - a pretty straight forward path going to the portal. No dangerous enemies here, except for a few strays along your path.
• gl_dun01 - the most dangerous path. do not attempt to fly your way towards the portal there are 50 arclouse in this area, so it is wise to stick with your priest and tell him before hand NOT TO FLY.
• gl_dun02 - the Majoruros Map enemy quantity as follows: Majururos 40, Gargolye 20

V. Tips

Culverts
- has a very nice spawn rate and plenty of monsters (tarou, farmiliar, planktons) in a small area
- bring your stilleto, brutal guard, pots.
- Culvert lvl 3 & 4 would be a nice staging ground for practicing VFW by mobbing MTBs. However lvl3 has Poison Spores and Farmiliars that can spoil your VFW since you dont cast it fast enough. lvl4 is the best between the two, drainlairs move slowly however Cramps reside here so be ready with tele.

Mandragoras & Sniping Area
- for mages that have incomplete equipments, or just staring with RO.
- Mandragoras (Aggresive) have slighty less sight range that of a mage and can be sniped from a cliff. but be carefull walking around the map because trees tend to hide mandragoras from sight.
- Sniping area (WN Pront) is also a nice area, but is quite tedious like the Mandragora map because of the numerous cliffs. There are 2 cast sensors (stainers, horn) and nonaggres (Wolf - mobber, Rockers)
- Practice the nonmoving VFW placement against Horns. This will prepare you for Clock Killing in later levels

GENERAL NOTE ON NONDUNGEON MAPS!!
Generally nondungeon maps have uneven surface and (hills or upward terrain, bump and curves /gg). Placing a VFW on a bump would change its orientation. Also finding a straight path for walking is tedious. It would take time to get used to moving straight in these maps. You would have to really explore that map for optimum VFW areas.

Argoipe and Friends Maps (WNN, WNNN, NN, NNN of Prontera)
- Bring your Gargantua Guard(Bigfoot), Immune Muff, HP increasing gears, pots (wyts, oranges and green), plenty of flys
- Be sure to have practiced VFW VERY WELL. You will need it here.
- If geared properly mantis, argos deals minimal damage. Argiopes and Mobs are the reasons for mage deaths.
- WNN has noturious number of mantis, so Mobbing is hard because they run quite fast. NNN contains plenty argiopes so be on guard.
- Mantises are Earth monsters so a single or two VFW can take them out. Argos and Argiope are poison properties both monster uses special poison attacks. So green pots or green herbs are needed against poison or venom dusts. Floras have thick MDEF so if you have patience and the sp to kill them then go ahead.
- Use Teleport Skill first then put the menu out of sight. press enter to fly away.
- SEE GENERAL NOTE

STING
- Learn VFW it help you to kill monsters/mobs easily and conserve SP.
- Always have fly wings with you for emergencies
- When hit by Stings, fly away immediately, they HIT HARD and FAST. They have also Spear Stab Skill that would wipe you out in a flash. Be cautious while walking sometimes you might overwalk and go directly to a Sting.
- Gargoyles are a pain for mages. if you see one fly away. nevermind the mob of stings you just VFW, the gargoyle can kill you.
- Learn to use the Stairs to avoid Gargoyles. Also Stings have, I think, has a more larger sight area so luring a sting away from a gargoyle is possible
- Stings uses quagmire skill which is just an annoyance.
- Also Avoid tunnels, because you dont know how many stings are there. Also if you teleported inside a tunnel, FLY AWAY immediately

MAJORUROS
- This area is meant for a party. Minimum is you and a priest, it will great if you would have a lure, a knight, for mobbing purposes.
- ask your priest to have Status Recovery and Lex Aeterna ready.
- Bring a Brutal Guard, few wyts, green pots, and flys.
- This area tends to MOB e.g. 5 Majoruros can have 10 Minos with them. So be extra careful, phen switching is recommended because you would have to cast lvl10 SGs but beware of gargoyles that lurk within the area.
- The Majos and Minos have tolerable damage output, provided with good equips, but they have Fire Attack and HAMMERFALL. That is the reason for Status Recovery.
- Use HD instead of ES because its more effective both in time and damage with respect to area coverage, also lex aeterna would help against those gargoyles
- DO NOT EVER USE LOV to kill frozen Majoruros unless you are sure you've dealt enough damage to them. Also JT 10 is usefull in finishing them off.
- Extra fact, Majoruros has 57k life so it will take 4-5S SG 10s to take them out.
